My story starts in the southern Italian region of Napoli and has travelled through Moscow, South Korea, Hong Kong and now London. Working as a freelance cooking instructor and consultant I have brought the traditionally authentic Italian cuisine across the continents.
Many years ago, when I first put a pan on the stove, I fell in love. Since then I have been bringing my little Italy en route and perfecting the art of cooking all’Italiana. Teaching, catering, last minute takeaways or professional consultancy is what I do best. My theory lies on preparing deliciously genuine recipes like my mother and grandmother used to make them. Hand-me-down recipes mean that the secret of cooking Italian specialities is still possible. But tradition also needs a little boost so I added an extra ingredient; creativity. With a little dose of DIY I have blended our history with modern times always keeping the menus and their presentation fresh and up-to-date.

My name is Loredana but everyone calls me Lori. Originally from Roma I have recently moved to this capital full of energy and enthusiasm. Back in my hometown I was involved for many years in the organisation of events. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, meetings, conferences... you name it, I did it. My Midas touch lies in the decoration of the venues. From tables to chandeliers, from flowers to gardens, I can make your dream come true. By careful consultations and in depth understanding I unleash your creativity and imagination making your vision a reality. And because I like to be part of the entire process, over the years I have spent many hours with chefs and caterers and have learnt the tricks of that trade too. The traditions of cooking regional Italian dishes are no longer a mystery for me and through practice- makes- perfect the art of entertaining is now complete.

Born and raised in Milan, I have always been attracted by all things different. Research and development have always been my drive. Growing up Mamma Iris was my first inspiration where I fervently absorbed her golden touch. In my 20’s I married a banker and life just changed. Living in Moscow, Texas, New York along with a brief stint in Egypt, has given me the opportunity to explore and mix and match cultures, ingredients and most importantly flavours. In my kitchen déjà-vue is not part of my vocabulary. Dishes are always metamorphosing in my cauldron and I love to experiment, to create. New cuisines and alternative recipes fuse into my Northern Italian heritage to create original and fabulous nuances. But I don’t stop behind the hobs. Table decoration and subsequently entertaining is second nature to my spicy personality. To me it’s not a duty but a pleasure and I am always the first to organise a party.
